Several fortnights ago I had the good fortune of enjoying yet another memorable Twelfth Night. It's merriment replaced now by winters days of idle measure that continue to remind me they too must be endured until spring returns the revelries, tournaments, and wars I so favor.
Yet, this time I decided to pursue an idea that had long plagued me, and set about gathering my notes scattered here and there.
A moment here, my Lord's and Lady's, and allow a small confession that scribing those ideas onto parchment was much easier than settling on the basis for my book.
Eventually I settled on King Arthur and his feudal society realizing his deeds, knights, and chivalry are the best known of all those medieval times.
From those first basic ideas on paper, it has become graphic-rich pages of ancient and
feudal times, period graphics, comprehensive knowledge, extensive glossaries, how-to-instructions and patterns, ideas, and historical facts, along with a multitude of ideas that will augment any decision you need make when forming your group.
This latest version also includes experiences from some of the realms I have started, served, and enjoyed to allow their insights to help evolve your group from your own ideals rather than from mine.
